Through this, data on the condition of contact wires and supports will be transmitted to maintenance centers.
Previously, their condition was checked through visual inspections during the day and diagnostic trains at night.
The developed JR Central system consists of two modules, including linear scanning cameras, laser scanners, and a near-infrared light lamp.
Data from these devices will be processed using artificial intelligence to detect defects.
