New York Subway Display Contract Strengthens Journeo’s U.S. Presence
Journeo plc (LON: JNEO) continues its global expansion by partnering with Outfront Media Group to modernize digital signage in the New York subway network. The contract, awarded through its subsidiary Infotec, represents a pivotal entry into the U.S. DOOH sector.
The company will deliver 49-inch and 65-inch TFT-based display systems, built at its Journeo Design Centre. Each unit integrates diagnostic feedback and predictive maintenance features, ensuring continuous performance and reducing operational downtime for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
Journeo expects deliveries to begin in the second half of 2026. Because the project supports Outfront’s large-scale modernization program, it positions the firm as a reliable technology partner for future U.S. infrastructure upgrades.
How the New York Subway Project Reflects Journeo’s Growth Strategy?
CEO Russ Singleton highlighted that expanding into the New York subway demonstrates strong confidence in the company’s technology and execution capacity. He noted that the deal strengthens relations with Outfront Media while confirming Journeo’s ability to deliver robust, network-wide solutions.
Beyond commercial benefits, the initiative aligns with Journeo’s vision to integrate smart, connected display platforms into public transport networks. These systems will enhance passenger communication, streamline advertising operations, and support data-driven maintenance.
Journeo continues to build on its expertise in transport display technology, aiming to deliver systems that combine durability, clarity, and analytics. Because the U.S. transit sector increasingly demands real-time communication and predictive insights, Journeo’s innovative displays are set to play a key role in shaping the next generation of digital mobility infrastructure.
