Invaders put pressure on farmers and steal Ukrainian grain
29.04.2022
In the Svatovsky district of the Luhansk region, the authorities of the so-called “LPR” are forcing farmers to start sowing.
The Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, Lyudmila Denisova, wrote about this on her Facebook page, reports railway magazine Railway Supply.
She noted that they promise to provide farmers with fuel and lubricants free of charge, but then the harvested crop will be nationalized in favor of the occupiers. The farmers themselves will own only a small part of the grown crop.
“Agrarians of the Svatovsky district do not support such a proposal, which is why the authorities of the so-called “LPR” put pressure on them, threaten to confiscate agricultural equipment, seed and put them in jail,” said Lyudmila Denisova.
So in the Kherson region, the invaders emptied the elevator in the village of Novoalekseevka and took all the grain to the occupied Crimea. A train with “grain” written on the carriages was also seen. It left the peninsula through the Kerch bridge.
“Kadyrov gangs seized the Agrosodruzhestvo enterprise, which cultivates about 20 000 hectares of land in the Genichesk district,” added Lyudmila Denisova.
