During 2021 Interpipe, a global producer of steel pipes and railway products, transferred UAH 2.96bln in taxes to the budgets of all levels and extra-budgetary funds. Comparing with 2020 the volume of tax expenditures increased by 17 percent mainly due to the surge of finished goods output.

Interpipe paid

Transfers to the state budget amounted to approximately UAH 1.88bln as well as UAH 614mln was paid to the local budgets. Moreover, UAH 471mln were transferred as Single Social Payment (SSP), reports the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to the manufacturer.

The taxes paid by Interpipe in 2021 are 3 times higher than the budget of such large city as Nikopol, or 6 times higher than Novomoskovsk’s one.

Sergiy Kuzmenko, Interpipe’s CFO:

– In 2021, each ton of our pipe and railway products provided over UAH 3,800 to the Ukrainian budget. Interpipe’s example demonstrates once again that the production and export of high value-added products ensures currency inflow in Ukraine, saved jobs and supplement of budgets of all levels.
