In January-August 2021, the Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe increased the production of wheelsets by 35% compared to the same period last year, to 15.3 thousand tons.

At the same time, “Interpipe” for 8 months of this year increased sales of wheelsets by 21.4%, to 16.2 thousand tons, reports the railway magazine Railway Supply  referring to the report on production activity for August.

In August-21, Interpipe increased sales of railway products by 10.3% compared to July, to 14.6 thousand tons.

In particular, sales of railway wheels over the past month increased by 11.9%, to 12.2 thousand tons, wheelsets – by 10.4%, to 2.0 thousand tons, railway axles – by 69.3 %, up to 0.4 thousand tons.

Railway sales volumes rose 10.3% MoM, driven by increased shipments to India and Turkey.
