At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Alexander Garkavyi, the Director of the Railway Division, spoke about the company’s achievements and its role in the global economy.

Speaking at the forum, Alexander Garkavyi emphasized that despite the proximity of its production facilities to the conflict zone, Interpipe remains one of Ukraine’s largest exporters. The European market accounts for 47% of total sales, demonstrating the company’s resilience and its role on the international stage.

He also highlighted that investments in eco-friendly production, initiated more than 13 years ago, have been a key factor in the company’s success. Interpipe has reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 47%, fully complying with EU environmental standards.

Investments and Sustainable Development at Interpipe

Interpipe continues to invest in production development even during wartime. Over the past year, the company has allocated $83 million to modernize production facilities and improve product quality. Particular attention is being paid to projects in Nikopol, despite its proximity to the conflict zone.

These investments underline the company’s determination to remain competitive and a reliable supplier for clients in the EU and the US.

“We prove our reliability every day by working for our partners and strengthening their trust,” said Garkavyi in Davos.

New Challenges and Prospects for Interpipe

At the Davos forum, global challenges such as the energy crisis, environmental issues, and sustainable development were discussed. Interpipe demonstrates that Ukraine can be not only a reliable partner but also a leader in eco-friendly technologies.

“Our clients trust us because we deliver high-quality products, a minimal carbon footprint, and reliable supplies. We are actively adapting to new challenges and are ready to meet the expectations of the global market,” Garkavyi noted.

The forum in Davos became another platform to showcase the strength of Ukrainian business.

“Believe in us, in Ukrainian companies, and in our country,” Garkavyi concluded.
