RCG, a subsidiary of the OBB group, developed the Innovative Hopper with advanced features for efficiency. The design incorporates specialized coatings that resist salt damage and extend the lifespan of the wagons.
Unique Features of the Innovative Hopper
Each Talns hopper boasts a capacity of 60 tons and a 69 m³ body volume. The structure includes a roof that opens to facilitate loading processes for bulk materials.
For unloading, the hoppers feature four side hatches that can operate mechanically or semi-automatically. Pneumatic systems enhance unloading efficiency, making the process faster and more seamless for operators.
Advantages of Using the Innovative Hopper Design
These hoppers are manufactured by several companies across Europe, highlighting their widespread functionality. The Talns design has already proven reliable for operations within chemical production facilities.
