From September 24 to 27, 2024, the Berlin Exhibition Grounds in Germany will host InnoTrans 2024, a key event for the transportation industry focused on the future of digitalization, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The opening of InnoTrans 2024 will feature the participation of the German Federal Minister of Transport, Dr. Volker Wissing, and the EU Commissioner for Transport, Adina Vălean.

The opening panel discussion titled “From Hype to Reality – Artificial Intelligence in the Mobility Sector” will bring together high-ranking industry representatives, including Dr. Richard Lutz, CEO of Deutsche Bahn; Mohamed Rabie Khlie, CEO of the Moroccan National Railways; Henri Poupart-Lafarge, President of Alstom; Michael Peter, CEO of Siemens Mobility; and Javier Martínez Ojinaga, CEO of CAF.

This year, the exhibition will present a new zone, the AI Mobility Lab, where over 30 exhibitors will showcase cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies.

The focus will be on further developing the transportation industry through digitalization, making systems more networked and automated. Kerstin Schulz, Director of InnoTrans, noted: “The integration of transport technologies and artificial intelligence helps make transport more efficient, sustainable, and customer-friendly. InnoTrans is where domestic and international transport companies and networks encounter innovative developments in the mobility sector.”

The AI Mobility Lab will serve as a platform to discuss potential issues of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data protection, and robotics in the railway industry.

The AI Mobility Corner will feature lectures on network technologies and will organize four tours dedicated to artificial intelligence.

These activities highlight the importance of digitalization and automation for the future of the transportation industry, offering participants a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the latest advancements and innovations.

Visitors to InnoTrans 2024 should note that TechInn s.r.o., the developer of the TechHydraulic Platform, a system that is an innovative solution for trams and subway cars, reducing downtime, increasing service life, and enhancing the quality of maintenance for tram depots and subway cars, will be participating in the exhibition – TechInn s.r.o., Hall 7.1a, Stand 212.
