InnoTrans 2024, the largest global event in rail transport, will take place in Berlin from September 24 to 27, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The exhibition will bring together over 2,900 participants from 59 countries to showcase their latest developments on a dedicated rail track.

Covering 200,000 square meters across 42 halls and outdoor spaces, the event will serve as a key platform for demonstrating cutting-edge technologies in the transport sector.

The main focus of InnoTrans 2024 will be the rail track and outdoor exhibition, featuring more than 110 vehicles, including high-speed trains, regional trains, trams, hybrid locomotives, and rail maintenance machines.

This will provide professionals with a unique opportunity to explore the latest technological advancements.

Siemens Mobility will present five vehicles, including the Velaro high-speed train, specially designed for Egypt’s extreme conditions. This train combines advanced design features with high passenger comfort. The exhibition will also feature the Mireo Smart regional train, aimed at sustainable rail mobility.

Alstom will showcase the Coradia Max™ regional train with its unique single and double-decker configuration, intended for Landesnahverkehrsgesellschaft Niedersachsen mbH (LNVG). Additionally, the company will present the Flexity™ tram, which will become Berlin’s longest tram with improved capacity and new safety systems.

Stadler will demonstrate the RS ZERO, a zero-emission vehicle using fuel cells and battery systems, marking an important step towards sustainable rail transport. The CITYLINK for Saarbahn, a versatile vehicle functioning as both a train and tram, will also be on display.

Other notable exhibits include Hitachi Rail’s high-speed ETR1000, compatible with various European power systems, and CRRC’s CINOVA, an energy-efficient regional train. Hyundai Rotem will showcase a new fuel cell tram with low noise and high energy efficiency.

Vossloh Rolling Stock will present the Modula BFC hybrid freight locomotive with fuel cells, while Tatravagónka as will exhibit a six-axle intermodal wagon for transporting heavy non-crane semi-trailers.

DB Bahnbaugruppe and DB Engineering & Consulting will demonstrate their 360° multisensor platform (MSP), which integrates sensors and measurement systems for the digitalization of rail infrastructure, providing detailed 3D imagery and comprehensive inspection.

Express Service OOD (Bulgaria) will present a range of shunting battery-electric locomotives, including the ES3000 and ES1000 models. These locomotives are known for their high environmental friendliness, low noise levels, and absence of harmful emissions. Outdoor Display, O2/75, T2/75.

PJSC “Kryukov Railway Car Building Works” (KVSZ) will showcase the Sggrss 80′ intermodal flat wagon designed for container transport, fully compliant with European standards. The wagons have completed all necessary testing in EU countries and have been verified for operation across the EU rail network. Hall 3.2, Stand 260.

LLC “NPO ‘A.T.O.R.'” – a leader in comprehensive supply of products for passenger coaches, electric trains, and social transport in Ukraine – will present an environmentally friendly toilet system for passenger cars and a sanitary module for passenger coaches. Hall 10.1, Stand 150.

TechInn s.r.o. will display a range of products aimed at optimizing the maintenance and repair processes of rail transport and metro systems. Hall 7.1a, Stand 212.

InnoTrans 2024 is a major event for the global rail industry, offering a deep insight into the future of rail transport through advanced technologies and innovative solutions.
