An additional 65 students will be attending offline classes in Kharkiv.

At the Akademika Pavlova metro station in Kharkiv, another metro school class has been inaugurated.

This information is provided by the Administration of the Saltov District of the city.

The new class is equipped for high school students, featuring double desks instead of individual ones, as seen at the University metro station, where younger students attend, along with an interactive whiteboard.

Students from 9th to 11th grades in the Saltov and Kyiv districts of Kharkiv will attend these classes.

They will be taught by educators from Kharkiv Lyceum No. 31.

Recall that the world’s first metro school opened in Kharkiv on September 4, 2023.

This was a necessary step as, due to shelling, children couldn’t attend regular facilities, given the short flight time of rockets from Belgorod to Kharkiv — just 30 seconds.

Hence, classrooms were set up in metro stations for them. Currently, around 2,000 students are studying underground.

Meanwhile, in the Industrial District, a separate shelter is being constructed, with classrooms for 900 students — the metro facilities are no longer sufficient for those eager to learn.
