Masandji Kadogosa, CEO of the transport company TRC, noted that the number of trains will increase depending on demand.
In 2021, TRC signed a contract with Hyundai Rotem for the delivery of 17 locomotives and 10 electric trains worth $245 million.
Additionally, 89 passenger cars were purchased from Sung Shin RST, including a special car for the president.
The locomotive-hauled train can carry over 900 passengers, while the electric train can accommodate up to 590 people.
