In Kazakhstan, they plan to repair 11,000 kilometers of railway tracks over five years, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Specifically, in 2024, Kazakhstan Railways intends to repair a total of 1,400 kilometers of railways, including a major overhaul of 570 kilometers of tracks.

A large volume of work is planned for sections including:

– “Shu – Kandyagash” — 266 kilometers

– “Astana – Almaty” — 260 kilometers

– “Zhana-Esil – Kokshetau” — 161 kilometers

– “Aktogai – Semey-Altai” — 153 kilometers

– “Kandyagash – Aksarayskaya” — 138 kilometers

– “Almaty – Pavlodar” — 106 kilometers.
