The “Yellow” line, spanning 30.4 km with 23 stations, is designed for trains to operate at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, according to the railway journal Railway Supply.
Alstom supplied 30 four-car Innovia monorail trains (previously owned by Bombardier) for the line, along with the Cityflo 650 train control system featuring the highest level of automation (GoA4), as well as switch points, depot equipment, platform doors, communication systems, and power supply.

The rolling stock was manufactured at a joint facility in Nanjing, China, in collaboration with CRRC.
Alstom will also supply rolling stock and equipment for the upcoming “Pink” monorail line in Bangkok, which is expected to be operational in 2024.
In addition to Thailand, the Innovia monorail systems of three generations are operational in the United States, Brazil, and China, with new ones being constructed in Egypt and China.
