Hyundai Rotem has submitted a bid for Warsaw’s new tram project, signaling its ambition to expand in Europe’s urban rail market and strengthen its position through advanced and cost-effective transport solutions. This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The company entered a tender to deliver 160 trams for the Polish capital’s operator. Hyundai Rotem proposed competitive rates, offering single-direction trams at about $6.02 million and bi-directional units at approximately $5.77 million each.
