The work required seamless coordination between legacy signalling and CBTC, along with real-time interface testing with the Jubilee Line’s SelTrac™ system.

Despite its complexity, the deployment ensured uninterrupted service for passengers across Circle, District, Hammersmith & City, and Metropolitan lines.

Clarke Walker, Project Director at Hitachi Rail UK, said the delivery involved real-time data synchronisation and multi-line switching without disrupting operations.

Andy Bell, Vice President at Hitachi Rail UK, credited the accomplishment to technical precision and close collaboration with Transport for London.
