HHLA’s Odessa terminal increased container handling in the first half of the year

The German port and logistics operator HHLA announced that the container terminal in Odessa increased its transshipment volumes by 3.4% – to 296 thousand TEU.
The company recorded the same figures in Tallinn, informs Railway Supply
In total, the group’s container terminals handled 3,370,000 TEU in the first six months of the year, which is 0.7% more than in the same period last year.

Container traffic at three HHLA terminals in Hamburg increased by 0.5% to 3,070,000 TEU. The growth was due a moderate increase in volumes on routes linking the port to Asia. On the other hand, feeder traffic, especially on routes in the Baltic region, has decreased.
