Locomotive production in Kazakhstan: 2025 trend
Diesel locomotives in the country are produced by «Локомотив құрастыру зауыты», a plant that is 100% owned by the US-based Wabtec. The factory is currently fulfilling an order to supply Evolutions Series ES44ACi locomotives (ТЭ33А); Wabtec previously referenced deliveries of this series for KTZ in a Wabtec press release.
