The German company continues to expand its production capacity, increasing the area of its plant in the Polish satellite city of Bydgoszcz – Osielsko, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

The plant’s area now reaches 1000 square meters, with 720 square meters specifically allocated for production.

The company specializes in producing electrical connectors and harnesses for various modes of transportation, including rail.

One of the key focuses will be on producing inter-car connectors for Stadler TINA trams assembled in Poland.

The new plant facilities include sections for manual cutting, preparation, and assembly of components, as well as assembly lines for large-scale production.

There is also a testing area with a high-voltage tester up to 12 kV.

Currently, the plant employs 31 people, but with production expansion, an increase in the workforce is planned.

The Polish branch of Harting started its operations in Osielsko in 2019.

Since 2008, the company has invested around 30 million euros in developing its production facilities in Wroclaw and Osielsko.
