Greenbrier and Wabtec to Supply Rolling Stock for COFCO Agribusiness

Greenbrier and Wabtec have signed a contract to supply railcars and locomotives to the COFCO agribusiness. The deal includes 979 railcars and 23 locomotives, ensuring transportation in Brazil. The supply cost amounts to 1.2 billion reals ($216 million). This was reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Production of Rolling Stock by Greenbrier and Wabtec
The railcars will be manufactured at the Greenbrier, Amsted Rail, and Iochpe-Maxion joint venture. The production facilities are located in the Brazilian state of São Paulo, ensuring high quality. The use of modern technologies will significantly improve transportation efficiency.
