Grain unloading in the ports of Odessa continues to increase

The volume of grain unloading from wagons in the ports of Odessa is still on the rise, as reported by the Railway Supply magazine, citing Rail.insider.
On June 7, a total of 547 wagons loaded with grain were unloaded in the ports of Odessa. The current daily average stands at 493 grain wagons.
Currently, there are 2,663 wagons of this category arriving at the ports, resulting in a waiting time of five days.
Modernization of Freight Infrastructure at the Border with Romania
The situation in the Izmail port has improved. From May 29 to June 8, the queue of grain wagons decreased by 508 units to 1,656.
The daily unloading rate in June is 122 wagons.
As a result, the waiting time has been reduced to 11 days.
Regarding the operation of the “grain corridor,” no vessel inspections were conducted on entry on June 7.
Currently, 52 vessels are awaiting inspection (15 in the port of Odessa, 25 in the port of Chornomorsk, and 14 in the port of Pivdenny, whose operations are blocked).
As previously reported, the number of wagons heading to the ports of Odessa continues to increase.
