At its factory in Mosbach, Germany, Gmeinder successfully completed the acceptance of the eighth shunting locomotive model D75 BB. This was reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

This event occurred under the contract with Logistik Service, which is part of the steelmaking company Voestalpine. The new locomotive will soon be delivered to Austria for operations.

Gmeinder announced plans to deliver two more similar locomotives to Logistik Service by the end of 2025. This confirms the company’s commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
Advantages of Gmeinder Locomotives: Timely Deliveries
The D75 BB locomotive model features diesel engines with power outputs of 708 kW or 950 kW. Starting tractive effort reaches an impressive 295 kN, making it suitable for challenging tasks.
The locomotive’s length is 12.4 meters, and it can navigate curves with a minimum radius of 40 meters. The maximum speed is 40 km/h, and radio-controlled operation is available, enhancing operational efficiency.
