A key factor in this initiative is a strategic partnership with Spanish firm Evolyn. The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding to join efforts in developing a new high-speed service through the Channel Tunnel.

FS Group Enters the UK High-Speed Rail Market

Today, FS Group is actively expanding its footprint in the European railway sector. In the UK, it participates in the High Speed 2 project and operates c2c, serving routes in the country’s southeast.

Additionally, FS is already running high-speed services in France, solidifying its role among Europe’s leading railway operators. The new Paris–London line will become a key part of the trans-European network.

In March, both Virgin Group and Gemini Trains announced their own plans to launch high-speed routes through the Channel Tunnel. As a result, the market is set to become more competitive, promising better service options for travelers.
