From September 1, Ukrzaliznytsia will close the old ticket sales website: where to buy tickets online?

Starting September 1, 2024, Ukrainian Railways will cease the operation of the old service for purchasing and booking tickets at booking.uz.gov.ua, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

This information was provided by Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, who is responsible for the passenger segment of Ukrzaliznytsia.

In his comment, he noted that the website, created in 2017 at the company’s request, will no longer be used for ticket sales.

With the transition to the new system, customers will be able to purchase tickets online through the mobile app and the updated web resource at booking-new.uz.gov.ua.

Additionally, ticket purchases will be possible through third-party platforms that sell railway tickets.

It is important to note that the old domain will redirect to the new version of the site, where users will still be able to check ticket availability.

According to Pertsovskyi, about 85% of all tickets are currently sold online, which is one of the highest rates in Europe.

This indicates a significant digital transformation of Ukrzaliznytsia and an increase in customer trust in online services.

Previously, the company had already introduced an updated website for ticket sales, which was an important step in improving the quality of passenger service.

The new interface and functionality of the website are aimed at simplifying the ticket purchase and booking process, making it more convenient and intuitive for users.

Thus, starting from September, Ukrzaliznytsia will fully transition to a new format of online sales, providing a modern level of service for its passengers.
