This information was published in the Telegram channel by the community of railway workers in Belarus, informs Railway Supply magazine with reference to Railinsider.

According to the community, on March 27, three assistant drivers were detained. And the next day, March 28, the driver of the Gomel locomotive depot was detained.

They took the driver just from the reporting for work at the depot,” the report says.

The community also has information about the detention and searches of employees of other divisions of the Belarusian Railway.

Earlier in the same Telegram channel, they warned that searches could be carried out at railway workers in order to find scapegoats due to “recent events on the Belarusian railway (we are talking about a rail war waged by Belarusian partisans to complicate the transportation of military equipment and ammunition of the Russian Federation to Ukraine, – ed.).

“There are similar cases already: art. 358 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus – “Espionage”, art. 356 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus – “Treason to the state”, art. 289 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus – “Act of terrorism”,” the message explains.
