Alstom has delivered the 40th Flexity tram to Gothenburg, Sweden, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

In late 2019, Alstom (then Bombardier) supplied the first of the 40 Flexity M33 Type C trams to Gothenburg for operation in 2020.
As of today, this tram has covered over 4.5 million kilometers in passenger transport.
This fleet now operates within the 160-kilometer tram network, the largest in Sweden.
Built in collaboration with consortium partner Kiepe-Electric, these trams replaced part of the existing urban fleet and were manufactured at Alstom’s facility in Bautzen, Germany.
They combine 100% low-floor technology with conventional wheelsets and are compatible with approved obstacle detection systems (ODAS).
Alstom is now set to deliver an additional 60 trams to Gothenburg, according to a recent order from the city’s transport management.
