“According to preliminary information, on the night of November 29, 2023, on the Itikit – Okusikan section of the East Siberian Railway, a freight train carriage caught fire during movement in the Severomuysky tunnel,” the department said.
As reported by Censor.NET, citing its sources, “SBU operatives conducted a special operation in Russian Buryatia, causing an explosion in the Severomuysky tunnel. This route leads to China and is used for military supplies.
“In fact, this is the only serious railway communication route between the Russian Federation and China. And now this route, which Russia uses, including for military supplies, is paralyzed. As our sources note, the explosion is another successful SBU special operation, although the security service does not officially comment on it,” the publication reports.
“According to our information, during the movement of the freight train, 4 explosive devices were triggered. Currently, the FSB is on-site, and railway workers are unsuccessfully trying to minimize the consequences of the SBU special operation,” adds Censor.NET.
