In May of this year, the private operator Arenaways was awarded a contract to resume operations on railway lines near Turin.

The first line, Cuneo – Savigliano, will begin operations in early 2025, while the second line, Ceva – Ormea, will open later due to ongoing engineering work.

These lines were closed for passenger services in 2012, and their reopening will be a significant step for the region.

Turnit will provide Arenaways with its digital ticketing solutions, including the Turnit Ride product.

This SaaS product includes tools for ticket sales, a booking system, and a sales operator application.

Such technological solutions will ensure a seamless and easy journey for passengers.

Arenaways CEO Matteo Arena emphasized the importance of choosing a partner who shares their philosophy and focus on travelers.

He noted that Turnit perfectly meets the company’s requirements due to its attention to detail and high level of service.

“We are excited to launch the ticketing service at the end of December this year,” added Matteo Arena.

On the other hand, Turnit CEO Ülo Säre expressed confidence in the successful collaboration with Arenaways.

He noted that Turnit’s technologies are perfectly suited to Arenaways’ plans to improve local rail services.

“Our partnership reflects a shared goal — to provide high-quality travel services through technological advancement,” said Ülo Säre.

The partnership between Turnit and Arenaways demonstrates both companies’ commitment to innovation and excellence in customer service.

This project, aimed at reviving rail services in Piedmont, will be a crucial step in boosting tourism and improving the region’s transport infrastructure.

The introduction of modern digital ticketing solutions will ensure a comfortable and convenient journey for passengers, which will undoubtedly help attract tourists and boost the local economy.
