Wascosa, a leading Swiss freight wagon leasing operator, and the Italian carrier TX Logistik have signed a new framework agreement that opens up new opportunities for both parties, as reported by the railway news portal Railway Supply.

Wascosa and TX Logistik Strengthen Partnership with NiKRASA System

This step is aimed at further developing the partnership and promoting the unique NiKRASA transfer system.

KRCBW Marks 155 Years with New Brochure

The order involves 125 modules of this innovative system, valued at approximately 3 million euros.

NiKRASA is specifically designed for the fast handling of non-craneable trailers, which is particularly relevant for 90% of truck fleets in Europe.

A key advantage of the system is its compatibility with existing infrastructure, allowing terminals and wagons to avoid costly upgrades.

Trailer transshipment takes only two minutes, significantly speeding up the process and minimizing downtime.

TX Logistik, part of Mercitalia Logistics, has been working with Wascosa for several years.

The new agreement enables them to expand their market presence, which is especially important given the growing demand for combined transport. As the first partner in the NiKRASA initiative, Wascosa views this system as a strategic addition to its offerings and plans to make it a standard service for its customers.

The NiKRASA system offers a major competitive advantage — it supports various types of trailers and can be used in diverse logistics scenarios.

This makes it attractive to companies looking to optimize their transportation operations and switch to more environmentally friendly solutions.

TX Logistik intends to actively promote the system among other market players, creating conditions for the widespread adoption of this innovation in the transport industry.

Previously, TX Logistik placed an order for 115 articulated platforms for intermodal transport, further indicating its intention to strengthen its position in the combined transport market.

The implementation of the NiKRASA system will be an important step in this direction, providing companies with new opportunities for efficient and rapid cargo transportation.
