The wagon handles curves with a minimum radius of 35 meters, while its four-axle layout ensures stability. This makes it suitable for complex railway networks.
The tank has a volume of 106 m³ and a payload capacity of 55.6 tons. The overall length over buffers is 17 meters. It is made of P400NGJ4 grade carbon steel, which withstands temperatures as low as -40 °C.
VTG Enhances Chemical Logistics Capabilities
VTG uses an upgraded loading and unloading system that includes a bottom valve, hydraulic pump, and side valves for both liquid and gas phases. This setup accelerates handling and reduces operational risks.
In addition, the wagon is equipped with an external sunshield to minimize heat exposure. This insulation helps maintain the required temperature range throughout transportation.
VTG Expands Its Fleet of Innovative Railcars
VTG focuses on advanced solutions that meet modern chemical logistics requirements. The new model complies fully with European safety standards for transporting hazardous goods.
With its robust structure, ergonomic design, and resistance to extreme temperatures, the wagon is suitable for a wide range of hazardous materials in industrial applications.
