The order is valued at approximately 20 million euros.

The first of the two high-speed lines is set to span nearly 300 kilometers, connecting Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi province, to Shiyan, a well-known automotive center in Hubei province.

CONTRACK technology received an award!

The second line, almost twice as long, is designed to facilitate travel between the bustling metropolises of Chongqing and Wanzhou in central China.

Vossloh Fastening Systems China, a subsidiary of the originally German-based Vossloh company headquartered in Kunshan, is responsible for executing this project.

Vossloh’s rail fastening systems, the means by which rails are secured to sleepers, must not only ensure the safety and reliability of these high-speed lines but also contribute to the long-term sustainable development of China’s transportation infrastructure.

Deliveries are scheduled for the second half of 2024.

China’s ambitious plans to expand its high-speed rail network are well underway.

The current network, spanning approximately 42,000 kilometers, is projected to grow to over 70,000 kilometers by 2035.

Over the past 17 years, Vossloh has been a significant partner in supporting the expansion of China’s railway infrastructure.
