Vossloh has signed another contract to supply rail fasteners for the construction of a high-speed line in southern China.

The bulk of the products are due to be manufactured in 2022. The contract worth more than 30 million euros is an important factor in the company economic stability and maintaining a strong position in the Chinese market – one of the largest in the world, reports Railway Supply magazine.

Vossloh has been present in China for over 15 years. Its Chinese division, Vossloh Fastening Systems (China) in Kunshan County, Jiangsu Province, employs more than 120 people and is one of the leading local suppliers of rail fasteners, especially for high-speed highways.

The Vossloh Group has almost 80 subsidiaries in 30 countries and 35 manufacturing facilities. Its products are used in 85 countries and employ about 3,500 people. In fiscal year 2020, the group sales exceeded 870 million euros.
