German company Vossloh, known for its railway infrastructure solutions, has announced the acquisition of the French company France Aiguillages Services (FAS).

LTG Cargo Ukraine offers its clients the transportation of wagons (tank wagons)

FAS, based in Bertrichamps in eastern France, specializes in the design, assembly, and maintenance of railway turnouts.

FAS has long collaborated with the French national operator SNCF, providing track maintenance services for high-speed trains.

Among the key routes where FAS solutions have been implemented are the Lyon – Marseille lines and the Rhône-Alpes region in southeastern France.

The acquisition of FAS allows Vossloh to significantly strengthen its position in the high-speed rail market.

Incorporating the company into Vossloh expands its capabilities to provide comprehensive infrastructure solutions, which is especially important given the increasing demands for railway reliability and speed.

It is worth noting that this is not Vossloh’s first acquisition in recent months. In September 2023, the company acquired Railwatch, which developed an innovative technology for monitoring the condition of wagons and locomotives using video cameras.

This technology enables real-time assessment of rolling stock’s technical condition, enhancing the safety and efficiency of rail transport.

Thus, the acquisition of France Aiguillages Services is a strategic step aimed at strengthening Vossloh’s position in the high-speed rail market and expanding the company’s technological capabilities.

Vossloh continues to actively develop, investing in advanced technologies and solidifying its position in the international market.
