With a maximum order potential of 120 units, Nexrail’s framework agreement with Vossloh illustrates long-term confidence. CEO Luuk von Meijenfeldt praised the streamlined homologation process. “This approval reflects a strategic and efficient approach,” he remarked.
Certifer Belgorail played an instrumental role in securing this approval. Collaboration with French, Belgian, and Luxembourg authorities ensured compliance with regional requirements. For Belgium, this marks the first homologation of the DE 18 SmartHybrid locomotive.
