Vietnam SuperPort has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with key regional partners to enhance logistics and transportation systems. The collaboration aims to expand infrastructure and improve freight movement efficiency.

The MoU includes Vietnam SuperPort, the Transport Development and Strategy Institute, and China Railway 16th Bureau Group Vietnam Co. Ltd. It outlines plans to develop modern rail cargo terminals and expand transport networks.

Vietnam SuperPort Focuses on Sustainable Growth

Vietnam SuperPort prioritizes sustainability by integrating multimodal transportation, including rail, road, sea, and air systems. The project spans 83 hectares, positioning the port as a hub for eco-friendly logistics solutions.

Dr Yap Kwong Weng, CEO of Vietnam SuperPort, emphasized the port’s commitment to sustainable development and achieving net-zero emissions by 2040. He stated the project will enhance Việt Nam’s economic competitiveness.

Deputy Director Nguyễn Thị Phương Hiền praised Vietnam SuperPort’s vision for aligning infrastructure growth with environmental goals. She noted the port’s efforts to strengthen regional connectivity while promoting green logistics solutions.

Vietnam SuperPort’s focus on integrated logistics services supports faster, cost-effective freight movement, benefiting both domestic and international trade. With its modernized systems, the port aims to boost Việt Nam’s trade performance.

The partnership with China Railway 16th Bureau Group Vietnam Co. Ltd. highlights Vietnam SuperPort’s role in driving economic growth. It also strengthens Việt Nam’s position as a regional logistics and transportation leader.
