Veslatec has acquired the lift technology manufacturer Nordlift, known for producing equipment capable of lifting entire train compositions, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Nordlift’s CEO, Matti Ranttila, will remain a minority shareholder and advisor for two years.

According to Veslatec’s CEO, Tom Bergström, Nordlift will enhance its international competitiveness with all production consolidated in our own facilities, leveraging Nordlift’s expertise in lift equipment design, welding, assembly, and testing, combined with Veslatec’s proficiency in laser processing and further refinement.
