On Friday, Jammu Railway Station buzzed with excitement as locals gathered to welcome the train. The announcement, “Yatrigan kripya dhyan dein, Vande Bharat train sankhya 244027 Kashmir jane ke liye platform number ek par khadi hai,” sparked jubilation among passengers.

Excited travelers rushed to platform one, cheering and chanting slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” For many, this train represents a dream come true, connecting Kashmir with regions far beyond.

Adik Kadam from Pune shared his enthusiasm, saying, “This train fulfills our dream of seamless travel to Kashmir. It makes the valley feel closer to us than ever before.”

Advanced Features of Vande Bharat Express Train

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon flag off this advanced train from Katra. With safety approvals in place, the project is set to transform connectivity across the valley.

This train incorporates unique features tailored for Jammu and Kashmir’s winters, including heating systems that prevent freezing and ensure smooth functionality in sub-zero temperatures. Its embedded windshield heating elements maintain visibility, ensuring uninterrupted service during harsh weather.

By offering fully air-conditioned coaches, charging points, and automated doors, the train promises comfort alongside technological innovation. Its capabilities reflect India’s dedication to bridging geographical and cultural divides.

The Chenab and Anji Khad Bridges: Engineering Marvels

Indian Railways completed rigorous trials on the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL). The route features the Anji Khad Bridge, with its towering pylon standing 331 meters above the riverbed.

Equally remarkable is the Chenab Bridge, the world’s tallest railway bridge, rising 359 meters above the Chenab River. This engineering masterpiece surpasses the Eiffel Tower’s height, symbolizing India’s infrastructure progress.
