UZ grain loading volumes in April have already exceeded the March figure

For 20 days of the current month, UZ has loaded 5 million 970 thousand tons of cargo, 13% of which is grain.
Valery Tkachev, deputy director of the commercial work department of the company, announced such information during an online meeting with representatives of the grain business, informs Railway Supply magazine.
Since the beginning of April, Ukrzaliznytsia has loaded 801 thousand tons of grain. This is 116 thousand tons more than in March of this year (685 thousand tons).
The average daily figure was 40 000 tons. However, the tendency to reduce loading on weekends continues. So, on Friday, April 15, the volume was a record for the month and reached 70.7 thousand tons, then the very next day it almost halved to 35.7 thousand tons. On Sunday, April 17, this figure fell to 13 thousand tons
At the same time, 275 thousand tons of grain were transported for export in 20 days of the current month.
