In order to protect themselves and their families, Ukrainians also traveled to Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic. Currently, Ukrzaliznytsia offers trips to Przemysl, Warsaw, Chelm, Budapest, Zahon and Kosice, Vienna and Isaccea.

“The State Border Service of Ukraine has extended the possibility of crossing the border on the internal passport of a citizen of Ukraine,” the press service noted.

After the end of hostilities, Ukrzaliznytsia plans to organize routes for the return of Ukrainians to their homes.

As previously reported, for almost a month of a full-scale war unleashed by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, Ukrzaliznytsia transported approximately 3 million people to safer places.
