Ukrzaliznytsia will launch four more medical train cars for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

These specially equipped cars will soon be deployed on railway tracks to evacuate wounded and injured soldiers to rear hospitals, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
Ukrzaliznytsia has refurbished the cars independently, ensuring they have all the necessary equipment to provide medical assistance during evacuation.
Contract for the supply of 54 EMD GT38AC freight locomotives
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Natalia Kalmykova expressed gratitude to all involved in this important endeavor, emphasizing the life-saving impact of these modern and high-quality cars.
Since March 2022, Ukrainian railway workers have put 62 medical cars into operation, with plans to retrofit an additional eight by the end of 2024.
