Ukrzaliznytsia plans to distribute all of its grain wagons through auctions in November using the Prozorro.Sales ETS, this is reported by the railway transport news portal, Railway Supply.

The increase in demand will lead to an increase in the rate for using grain wagons to 1,000 UAH per day without VAT.

The auctions will be conducted in an English format, and the Dutch auction format is also under consideration.

Additionally, auctions are scheduled for October 24 with a rate of 600 UAH per day.

Participants in the grain market are discussing the possibility of extended auctions and increasing the number of available wagons.

Ukrzaliznytsia is ready to provide approximately 5,000 grain wagons and offers to obtain them at the base rate through the “Center for Transport Logistics” branch.
