Ukrzaliznytsia plans to build grain wagons

The company aims to construct 120 grain wagons for standard and European gauges this year, as discussed during the Export Office meeting on January 17.

Gennadiy Maydanik, the director of the company’s commercial department, mentioned that the newly introduced hopper wagons for both gauge tracks are currently undergoing testing.

The goal is to expand the fleet of the company’s ‘Center for Transport Logistics’ branch with 120 grain wagons by the end of the year.

The key advantage of these wagons is their ability to travel within Ukraine and beyond its borders without the need for reloading.
