The first container train from the CTS Liski terminal branch in Ukraine will depart for the Port of Duisburg this summer, marking the starting point for future routes.

Customers will now be able to choose rail transport with clear understanding of final costs and delivery times, bypassing border queues.

This solution will not only enhance logistics efficiency but also significantly reduce environmental impact through preference for rail transport.

Located at the confluence of the Ruhr and Rhine rivers, the Port of Duisburg serves as a key hub for cargo transport to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Its eight container terminals uphold its reputation as the world’s largest inland river port.

UZ’s plans to develop new container routes underscore the importance of this collaboration for the Ukrainian economy and international trade, promising to stimulate growth and innovation in the region’s logistics sector.
