Ukrzaliznytsia is launching the second phase of the Dnipro City Express project!

In the first stage, which began in December 2023, modernized electric trains began operating on the Dnipro – Kamianske – Dnipro route, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
In the second stage, Ukrzaliznytsia is adding more convenient connections within the Dnipro agglomeration. Starting from March 29th, modernized electric trains of the Dnipro City Express will run on the Kamianske – Dnipro – Synelnykove route.

Trains will stop at stations such as Nyzhnedniprovs’k, Kseniivka, Ihren’, Synelnykove-2, and other intermediate stations, providing convenient transportation between districts and banks of the Dnipro River and the residents of the agglomeration.
From now on, in addition to trips from Kamianske to Dnipro, there will be 4 trips from Kamianske to Synelnykove station via Dnipro during the day, 2 trips from Synelnykove station to Kamianske via Dnipro, 3 trips from Dnipro to Synelnykove, and 5 trips in the opposite direction.
The route will be served by Ukrzaliznytsia’s restored EP2T series electric trains.
They are equipped with ramps, spaces for passengers with disabilities, inclusive toilets, Braille navigation, bicycle spaces, as well as Type-C and USB ports for gadget charging.
