Ukrzaliznytsia has opened the season of Christmas trains!

Festive locomotive journeys with Christmas performances have simultaneously started in Kyiv and Lviv, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

30% of seats are provided free of charge for the children of deceased and injured railway workers, servicemen, and other social categories.

“All seats for 20 locomotive trips were quickly taken, especially in Kyiv – in less than an hour. This demonstrates Ukrainians’ need for positive emotions and wonders, so the railway brings holidays on schedule. Primarily for those children who need this celebration the most,” commented Alexander Pertsovsky, the head of passenger services at Ukrzaliznytsia.

Partners of Ukrzaliznytsia in organizing the celebration for social categories of passengers include the Howard Buffett Foundation, Save Ukraine NGO, MHP-Hromada Foundation, Milk Bar, Gemini, Toy-Toy Trade, UNICEF, and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.
