Ukrzaliznytsia has added two medical evacuation railway cars to its fleet

These are intended for the needs of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
In total, there are now 66 such cars, with the company planning to add four more by the end of the year.

These specially equipped medical railway cars have proven their effectiveness in evacuating and transporting wounded soldiers, providing timely medical assistance, including emergency surgery and resuscitation, during train movement.
All cars are fully autonomous thanks to generator power and equipped with artificial lung ventilation devices, blood transfusion equipment, cardiomonitors, aspirators, and other medical technology.
Earlier reports indicated that this year Ukrzaliznytsia plans to update its fleet of passenger cars and suburban trains.
