UTILIX.ONE

Sigfox Ukraine is the public Sigfox 0GTM operator in Ukraine, launched in 2020.

Sigfox Ukraine is at the forefront of the IoT market providing easy, scalable, reliable and secure connectivity for the “simple things” with the focus in smart metering, logistic and agriculture.

Despite the russian aggression against Ukraine and the fact that most members of the Sigfox Ukraine team are defending their homeland in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Sigfox 0GTM network in Ukraine is stable and continues to expand.

Sigfox 0G technology is a Low-Power Wide-Area (LPWA) cellular connectivity for IoT services.

It is designed to connect sensors and devices securely at low-cost in the most energy efficient way to enable Massive IoT.

Since its inception in 2010, the 0G technology has been adopted by 70+ countries worldwide.

The 0G Operators own and commercialize the global 0G network in the respective countries they operate in.

What we offer for the Railways industry

The 0G services, we are implementing in Ukraine, enable Industrial Internet of Things for the Railroads, Railways Wagon Owners, Logistic Companies and Cargo Owners such as SNCF, DHL, Michelin, Airbus and many other.

It has been working effectively in the world for more than 10 years. It’s very simple: first, we study the problems of each company, then we make a “pilot connection”.

Then the company installs trackers on its assets and immediately connects to the 0G global network operating in 72 countries.

We provide Railways industry with the simple and cost-effective way to locate the rolling stock all around the Europe.

Ukraine is progressively moving toward an open rail transportation market and away from monopolistic railroad management.

But at present, monopoly manages the strategic logistics infrastructure, controls locomotive traction, and has information data that no other transportation market player has.

When planning transportation and sending cargo to the port, cargo and railcar owners are deprived of the opportunity to see data on logistics processes for their cargo and are unable to quickly track the location of railcars.

Tracking systems are one of the tools for resolving disputes over the actual location of a railcar and preventing cargo theft.

In addition to information from Railroads automated systems on the condition of the car, its mileage, presence in a particular train, etc., information on the current location and movement of cars is necessary for both the operator and the cargo owner.

Thus, the pilot project for assets tracking- grain railroad carriages, launched by the transport company Cargo+ in 2021 together with the 0G Sigfox Ukraine network, has been recognized as beneficial by both the national railway operator and cargo owners and logistics companies, and transformed into the development of ECBE-platform.

ECBE is an environment in which each business entity, legal and private persons, and railroad operators have their own profile.

The profile, after the start of administration by its owner, becomes unique and contains all the information for determining and generating the appropriate IT cabinet with a set of necessary functionality and personal user settings.

With the help of a single ECBE, it is possible to remotely (online) control parent companies of their Ukrainian branches, use employees and specialists, both European and Ukrainian, for end-to-end transnational business processes.
