Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, has announced that Ukraine plans to open another ground railway corridor for the export of Ukrainian grain in the near future, as reported by the railway portal Railway Supply.

“We have currently opened an alternative ‘grain corridor’ and are testing it. Additionally, we will open another ground railway corridor. So, we are continuing to increase the capacity of all corridors collectively – this is an absolute reality,” stated the head of the ministry.

Responding to a question about the continued relevance of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, Dmytro Kuleba mentioned that “hope dies last.”

“Hope dies last, I would say. The Black Sea Grain Initiative dies last. But it is evident that we still need to work on alternative solutions, and that is precisely what we are successfully doing,” he emphasized.
