Turkey Eyes Export Opportunities for E5000

Its dual 2.5 MW converters stand as the most powerful ever built in Turkey. The model also meets European TSI standards, allowing interoperability across international rail networks and reinforcing its export potential.

This achievement reflects Turkey’s growing commitment to infrastructure modernization and technology independence. Authorities aim to strengthen rail freight efficiency and reduce reliance on imported locomotives.
