Turkish logistics association UTIKAD signed a memorandum on the development of multimodal transportation through Ukraine

The Turkish Association of International Transport and Logistics Service Providers UTIKAD has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the aim of developing an international multimodal route for the organization of rail transport between Turkey, Ukraine, Lithuania and Scandinavia.
UTIKAD represents the interests of companies operating in the Turkish logistics industry, therefore, its support and the signing of the memorandum are of great importance, reports Railway Supply magazine.
In addition, the memorandum has already been signed by LTG Cargo Ukraine, Ukrzaliznytsia JSC, Liski Transport Service Center, as well as transport and logistics companies Ukrferry and FerryPlus.
Turkish-made electric train will start running trials in August
Earlier, in June, the Ukrainian subsidiary of the Lithuanian cargo operator LTG Cargo presented a project for the transportation of semi-trailers to the Chornomorsk – Klaipeda route.
