Trinity Industries delivered 4,325 railcars in the third quarter, as reported by the railway portal Railway Supply.

This delivery volume is 685 units below the forecast due to the closure of the U.S.-Mexico border by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency.

The company stated that increased state vehicle inspections led to trucking delays, adversely affecting its supply chain.
